state meet results - Carly Hamilton 2nd & Chadd Kiggins 11th

Posted Sunday, November 07, 2010 by Mike Hout
The state meet is now history.  Springboro girls dreamed of a championship after last year's second place finish.  They were not able to pull it off but they finished a very respectable 6th, just one point out of 5th and a few points out of 2nd.  Carly Hamilton ended her career on a big note as she finished second!  Sydney Leiher from Beavercreek finished 17th.

In the boys race Zach Wills won his third state championship and will head to Oklahoma State to try to help them continue winning NCAA championships.  Chadd Kiggins ran a great race and finished 11th.  Our friend Jordan Redd was 22nd.  The boys team race was a real barn burner and Louisville pulled off the big upset by one little point over favorite Medina.  Miamisburg's boys team was listed ahead of three of the teams at the state meet, according to this preview article at http://oh.milesplit.com/articles/54276  The three teams we had a higher ranking than were Hudson (34), Walsh Jesuit (35) and Solon (55).  The Miamisburg boys are ranked 30th according to oh.milesplit.

Below are the final results for the boys and girls in all three divisions:
