Quentin Mullen makes the paper (thanks to Stevie Sartoris)

The athlete of the week in the November 15th neighbors section of the Dayton Daily News was Stephen Sartoris.  The caption next to his picture says he is a three-sport standout at West Carrollton.  Here is some of what was in the article...

Claim to fame: Hard work, first-team Greater Western Ohio Conference South in PR time of 16:14.
Bet you didn't know: Freshman year season best was 22:40.
Toughest opponent: Miamisburg's Quentin Mullen.  He is my best friend and great rival.
Favorite book: "Five People you meet in Heaven"
Favorite musical artist: Blink 182
Favorite pro athlete/why: Galen Rupp is also asthmatic
Favorite smell: Early morning in the winter when I run before school
Game-day ritual: Pump up the guys on the team with a short speech
Words to live by: Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.
Biggest influence/why: Myself.  I work every day to be better than I was yesterday.
I am most annoyed with: laziness.
Most embarrassing moment: Anytime I am getting out-kicked at the finish.
